BACKGROUND

Invited to propose sweeping changes to one of the finest retail destinations in the English speaking world, this master plan for the New West End divided the streets of Oxford, Regent, and Bond Streets into 7 villages hosting the primary cluster groups who visit these 7.5 million square feet of retail each year.

Working with Shopping Centre Solutions, each ‘village’ was given a defined turf, a mix of retail, leisure, entertainment, dining, and cultural offerings. It shifts the focus away from the streets to the neighbourhoodsthat are created by the tenants, visitors, guests, and customers who frequent this part of London.
