Set within Kuala Lumpur’s ‘Golden Triangle’, the masterplan for Embassy Gardens transforms an irregular-shaped site into a permeable network of towers and gardens boasting some 345,000 of retail and leisure. The careful massing strategy places a dramatic arc of hotel and residential towers around the site boundary, leaving room for an elegant suite of garden dining pavilions protected by a delicate arched glass roof. A central glass-bottomed canal acts both as reflection pool for the 55-story office tower, and as a rippling skylight for the underground arcade.
