Headwaters Park
Fort Wayne - USA
Thirty acres of industrial riverfront have been converted into a grand central park in the heart of this Midwestern city.
Opened in 1994, Headwaters Park transformed this flood plain into a series of garden rooms, festival terraces, garden theatres, fountains and follies. Emblematic civic art tells a story of the diversity of the landscape of the continental divide separating the St. Lawrence River Basin and the Mississippi River Watersheds.
As one of the most successful parks in modern history,Headwaters Park continues to attract millions to it over the course of every year
